Call to School District Presenters


We invite you to apply to present to your colleagues at the NJPSA/FEA/PCG Special Education Summit 2023 “Blazing the Trail: Creating a Culture of Engagement and Collaboration in a Changing Educational Landscape”. The purpose will be to share practices and strategies on fostering leadership and creating a collaborative culture to impact the learning and social emotional wellness for students with disabilities.

Time slots for each session will be 30 minutes on Friday April 28, 2023. Presenters who are accepted to present must agree to include all of the following in their session:

  • An overview/description of an innovative strategy or a practice implemented or expanded to coach future leaders in schools or to foster a collaborative culture to support students
  • Qualitative and/or quantitative data demonstrating positive results in either school or district implementation fidelity or in student achievement or performance data
  • Time for audience discussion and activities that will allow audience members to learn the strategy/innovative practice and consider options for implementation in their own district
  • Links to handouts, videos, tools, and/or research that describe the strategy/practice, provide the research supporting it, and/or assist participants with implementation in their own schools or districts (note: presenter must eliminate all sales messages and refrain from marketing of services or products)

Presenters will be given a registration discount of 20 percent off the full-price registration fee (maximum of three presenters per session can receive the discount).

There are 10 workshop strands or themes that will be included in the sessions. Please review these and indicate which strand most closely aligns to your application submission.
